Effective August 09, 2011, the following individuals have been duly and formally appointment by the Conference Directorate as officers of the newly organized Brooklyn South-Staten Island Pathfinder Area of the Northeastern Conference Pathfinder Federation of the Northeastern Conference Youth Ministries Department. Director Wayne Peters has been appointed as special advisor to the New Area and the Long Island Pathfinder Area reportable to the President; to lend his expertise in ensuring the success of these Federated Areas.

Hello Everyone,

Below are links to videos of the several cadences your Pathfinders are expected to learn for the area.Throughout the year, my staff and I will be creating new cadences for the area so we have extra beats to play besides the conference beats.

I strongly advise that all Instructors during the summer set aside at least 20 mins in practice sessions for drilling of Rudiments. From this point on any new area beat will be strongly rooted in the 40 Essential Rudiments. It's time we explore other rudiments besides single stroke, double stroke, five stroke rolls and paradiddles while still perfecting them.
